PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Trendsetter designed, manufactured and delivered an 18¾" 15,000 psi single ram capping stack for the Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) in 7½ weeks safely and with zero incidents. This allowed the major oil and gas companies to resume drilling in the Gulf of Mexico after the BP Macondo oil spill incident of 2010. In July 2012, the capping stack was proven a success in the first-ever full-scale oil spill response test.
